London Delights
There’s always an air of excitement surrounding summer vacations, and this ____ in particular holds a special place in my heart.

Day 1 First ____ of London
Walking around the area we were staying in, I couldn’t help but notice several signs along the streets that ____ “TO LET.”
At first, I assumed that these signs were missing the ____ “I”, and that the UK was incredibly toilet friendly.
I excitedly shared my thoughts ____ my brother, mentioning that it seemed like London had many public restrooms.

Day 2 The British Museum
After having breakfast, we headed ____ the British Museum.
____ has impressive collections from all over the world.
I was delighted to see ____ world-famous Rosetta Stone.
I read in the world history textbook that it was the most important clue for ____ the ancient Egyptian writing system.
Our exploration continued, ____ it led us to a display of Egyptian mummies.
Witnessing ancient mummies ____ person was a fascinating experience.
____ I felt a sense of sympathy for these mummies being exhibited in front of foreigners in an unfamiliar land.
Next, we explored the Greek Parthenon ____ and its sculptures.
While the ____ itself is a copy, some stones and many statues were actually brought from Greece.
The statues made of smooth white marble ____ elegant and beautiful.
After a coffee break at the Queen Elizabeth II court under the beautiful roof, we ____ by the Chinese Gallery on our way to the Korean Gallery.
The ancient Chinese warriors, all riding ____ horses, were fascinating.
When we stepped into the Korean Gallery, my attention was immediately ____ by a sarangbang.
Seeing the sarangbang made from trees taken from ____ surprised and delighted me.
As I looked around, ____ sense of pride filled me to see people from different countries appreciating Korean arts and crafts, such as the moon jar.
A visit to the British Museum was ____ a journey through time and across the continents.
Day 3 My Parents’ Wish Lists
Today was a special ____ dedicated to my parents.
We decided ____ drop by one of the oldest and most stunning bookstores in London, known for its classic charm.
My dad loves books, and it was a ____ he had always wanted to explore.
We were ____ disappointed.
____ was built during the Edwardian era and had three floors made of wood.
The best part was how much natural light flooded in, making ____ even more beautiful.
This place was heaven for ____ dad.
His eyes shone ____ delight as he looked through the shelves.
My dad purchased a biography of Churchill ____ himself and cotton bags, well-known among Londoners, for our entire family.
If the morning had been for my dad ____ his books, the later half of the day was about my mom’s love for afternoon tea.
Stepping into the tea room, I felt a bit ____ due to the elegant atmosphere.
However, ____ feeling quickly faded away when we were presented with a generous pot of tea and a three-level stand filled with delicious treats.
I used to think ____ having afternoon tea was an expensive, unnecessary luxury.
However, enjoying afternoon tea with my family at such an elegant place made me feel like ____ noble lady.

Day 4 A Musical in the West End
Ever ____ I was in the musical club in my middle school, I’ve loved to watch musicals.
____ was thrilled to watch the original cast version of my favorite musical in its hometown of London.
I could not take my eyes off of ____ magical sets and elaborate costumes.
The powerful voices of two leading ladies in ____ were out of this world!
Sadly, my English wasn’t good ____ to follow some parts of the musical, and I couldn’t always enjoy a laugh with others.
However, it ____ still a really great experience.
No vacation lasts forever, ____ I eventually had to return to Korea.
I enjoyed every aspect of ____ London trip.
What I ____ most about London was the variety.
From exploring the historical bookstore to ____ the magic of musical theater, there was something for everyone in my family to enjoy.
London has truly captured our hearts, and ____ can’t wait to visit more of London’s most interesting places.
